News

Spider-Man 3 held the top spot for the second weekend, bringing in an estimated $60 million from the U.S. box-office. The third installment was down 60% from its record breaking $151.1 million opening weekend and has earned an estimated $242.1 million in ten days. On the international front, the film raked in $85.5 million bringing its worldwide total to a staggering $622.1 million.

The film had little competition in its second week in release as the number two film, 28 Weeks Later brought in just $10 million. The first real test of Spidey’s staying power will come on Friday when the second of a string of films with “3″ in their title, Shrek the Third hits theaters.

Spider-Man 3 Movie Plot and Cast info
Peter Parker has finally managed to strike a balance between his devotion to M.J. and his duties as a superhero. But there is a storm brewing on the horizon. Under the influence of the suit, Peter becomes overconfident and starts to neglect the people who care for him most. Forced to choose between the seductive power of the new suit and the compassionate hero he used to be, Peter must overcome his personal demons as two of the most-feared villains yet, Sandman and Venom, gather unparalleled power and a thirst for retribution to threaten Peter and everyone he loves.
