SONY TO RELEASE SPIDER-MAN 2.1 ON DVD

Sony Pictures will release an all new extended DVD entitled Spider-Man 2.1.  The new disk will included previously unseen footage, including J. Jonah Jameson trying on the famous Spidey suit.  Also included on the disk will be an introduction by producers Grant Curtis and Avi Arad, an audio commentary with producer Laura Ziskin and Oscar-winning screenwriter Alvin Sargent, a trivia track and a featurette highlighting new visual effects, editing and sound design.   A special sneak peek of Spider-Man 3 will also be included.

The special edition DVD is scheduled to be released April 17th.

SPIDER-MAN 3 GAME WEBSITE LAUNCHED

The official website for the Spider-Man 3 game is now live.  The site features the trailer shown at E3 with in-game model of Spider-Man (no game footage), wallpapers, countdown clock, game development blog and links to pre-order your copy.  The game will be available for all next-gen systems.

The site also offers a chance to be one of the first  to play the game by signing up for the “Spidey’s Web“.  The game is scheduled to be released on May 4th, the same day the film is released.
